INSPIRATION

I celebrate the inspiration of just being here alone. I didn't think I would be here for long. The fact that I'm ten years in and I could wake up and have my side hustle and see people's reaction of my work is what keep me going. My first pop-up ever was at Afro Punk last year. I decided to dive in at the biggest festival with 5,000+ people and show myself and my work. Seeing people come in and freak out and ask me questions - that's what drives me: to make people smile. I want to bring a light to the situation that we're currently in. Hey, we're all different but we're all the same while showing the black experience. I have to do more. Waking up and just knowing i'm going to create something that will hopefully change or give some sort of expression to someone is what drives me.
